Inspired by Norway’s second-largest island, the BRUVIK SENJA® is shaped by towering peaks, Arctic winds, and one designer’s lifelong connection to the north.
Senja — Norway’s second-largest island — is often called “Norway in miniature.” It holds multitudes: sharp mountain ridges, pristine beaches, deep fjords, and skies that shift from gentle light to Arctic storms. It’s where nature writes poetry in angles, silence, and snow.
With more than fifty peaks over 750 meters, Senja’s silhouette is jagged and proud — carved by weather, time, and the sea. At 69 degrees north, this is no soft landscape. It’s raw, untouched, and awe-inspiring.
For Norwegian watch designer Rune Bruvik, the BRUVIK SENJA® is more than a timepiece — it’s a journey made wearable. A return to childhood road trips from the western fjords to Vesterålen, always passing through this rugged island. The memories are vivid: mountain roads, sea spray, and light that felt different.

True to the brand
“Senja captures everything I love about Norwegian nature. It’s dramatic. It’s wild. And it’s a bit of an underdog — like our brand.”
— Rune Bruvik
Every detail of the watch echoes the island. The repeating triangular bezel mirrors the jagged skyline. The dial, etched with a fishing-net motif, pays quiet tribute to the island’s seafaring heritage. The crown bears the relief of Okshornan — the most iconic of Senja’s peaks. On the back, an engraved map of the island keeps the north close at hand.
Crafted in brushed 316L stainless steel, the SENJA is both refined and rugged — like the place that inspired it. Select facets catch the light like sun on water, but its presence is grounded, enduring, elemental.
This is Senja — not just a watch, but a moment of Arctic stillness, captured in steel.
