How it started
Born from a childhood dream on a road trip through Switzerland, BRUVIK was founded in 2009 by Norwegian designer Rune Bruvik — a fifteen-year-old’s fascination turned into a lifelong passion. Eighteen years after that first spark, Rune launched his own timepiece, crafted not just to tell time, but to tell a story.
From the deep fjords to the frozen peaks of Svalbard, BRUVIK watches capture the raw power and beauty of Norwegian nature — sometimes quite literally, with genuine fjord water sealed inside the case. This unique spirit earned BRUVIK international recognition, including 2nd place in the “European Watch of the Year 2014.”
